Memory of the world: The Military Historical Reconstruction “Give Kiev”, dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, in Ukraine

One of the largest military-historical reconstructions dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, launches on November 1, 2013 in the capital of Ukraine. In the jubilee - the tenth - festival “Give Kiev” take part military history clubs from around the world. Traditionally, Russians participate in the restoration of the episode of fighting for the liberation of Kiev from Nazi invaders. This year, a group of re-enactors from the country attends by representatives of the Russian military-historical society.

November 2 takes place the dress rehearsal for reconstruction of the battle scene. The main event – the military-historical reconstruction – will be held on November 3.

The X Festival “Give Kiev”, as expected, will become the most spectacular for the duration of the renovation. For the first time members of military history clubs will not only fight on land, but also show how 70 years ago, during the liberation of the capital of Ukraine from the Nazis, Soviet troops crossed the Dnieper.
