Internet and society: Single portal of the budget system of Russia launched in the test mode

A single portal for the Russian budget system is running in test mode at www.budget.gov.ru. According to the website of the Government of Russia, the new portal "contains more than 70 pages of information about the budgetary system and device of Russia, budget system, state support of businesses and individuals, the public sector and its structure, the financial condition of public law entities, their assets and obligations, performance budget reports and other data".

From January 1, 2014 here will be posted registry agreements for grants to entities, individual entrepreneurs, producers of goods and services. The portal will be accessed in the information systems of the Federal Treasury, designed to maintain the registry of contracts concluded customers and registry of bank guarantees.

This resource provides the tools to assess public opinion and is posted more than 10 packages of open data. The portal will be launched officially in 2014. As part of its further development is supposed to provide the normative regulation of the procedure for conducting the portal, shorter update information, upgrade information and telecommunications infrastructure for the operation of the portal.
