History of a Book: Presentation of the virtual museum of a book “The Breath of Centuries” in Pskov

December 25, 2013 at the Centre for work with rare and valuable documents of the Pskov Regional Universal Scientific Library is held a presentation of a virtual museum of a book "The Breath of centuries".

The virtual museum of the book "The Breath of centuries" is created as part of the project on the preservation of rare and valuable documents in the region. The Pskov Regional Library strives to provide maximum access to such documents and put them in scientific and cultural revolution. When the museum is fully operational, many unique historical Pskov documents are available to anyone, from anywhere in the country and even the world without leaving home.

The Virtual Museum will present nine thematic sections - or "rooms":

- Priceless pages of history.

- The foundation of the city of Pskov.

- Chronicle sources.

- Activities of the Statistical Committee of Pskov and Archaeological Society.

- Sights of the Pskov land - Military history of the Pskov region.

- Legendary people of the Pskov land - Cities of the Pskov province.

- Periodicals.
