Internet and society: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia to launch the web site of the World Coordinating Council of Compatriots in 2014

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia after the New Year is planning to launch a website designed for compatriots in the world, said Deputy Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia to work with compatriots abroad Sergey Nikolaev. He took part in the meeting of the fifth round table to discuss the work with compatriots in Africa.

"In January, we plan to launch an online resource of the World Coordination Council of Compatriots in trial mode in order to by April it began to work", - he said.

The purpose of the website - to assist in the development of cultural and linguistic heritage and to inform the compatriots who often fragmented, do not have space for meetings, as well as means to develop their own web resources.

The round table was held on the territory of a single sub-Saharan Africa of the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Johannesburg. The participants shared their experiences, perspectives and challenges of dioceses and proposals for cooperation with local authorities and Russian embassies.
