In Moscow, in a former City Council (a branch of the State Historical Museum), on December 18, 2013 opened the exhibition "Jewelry tradition of the Romanovs", which became the main exhibit replica of Great Imperial Crown of the Russian Empire. The replica of jewelry was created by the master of the "Smolensk Diamonds" to the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty.

The Grand Imperial Crown is made ​​by modern masters from Smolensk. Its original - a crown, which crowned tsars of Russian autocrats - stored in the Kremlin and, by law, cannot be moved anywhere. It is the main symbol of the power of the Russian monarchs, imperial regalia from 1762 to 1917. Grand Imperial crown were crowned all Russian emperors from Catherine II. Modern crown, made ​​of white gold, is adorned with 11, 5 thousand diamonds of the famous "Russian cut" and 74 pearls and is topped with a red tourmaline.
