Society and church: The IV Winter Orthodox Exhibition, dedicated to the 700th anniversary of the St. Sergius of Radonezh, in Saint-Petersburg

The fourth Winter Orthodox Exhibition, which brings together representatives of the churches and monasteries of Russia, Serbia, Greece, Estonia, Ukraine and Belarus, is held in the Saint-Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex from 18 to 22 December 2013. This year it is dedicated to the 700th anniversary of the great saint of Russia - St. Sergius of Radonezh. Of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra in St. Petersburg it will be brought a miraculous icon of St. Sergius of Radonezh, Wonderworker of All Russia with relics.

Before the visitors of the exhibition, as part of the cultural program, artists will demonstrate their art of author’s and folk songs for children and adults, secular and church choirs, folk groups; there will be held presentations of spiritual literature, exhibitions, demonstrations of folk art products, thematic lectures. In addition, every day at the exhibition will run a special room for interviews with the priests of the diocese of St. Petersburg.
