The Leo Tolstoy State Museum (Moscow) hosts the exhibition “Elder Son”. It is dedicated to the Sergei L. Tolstoy (1863-1947) – a writer, composer, one of the first musical ethnographers in Russia, a public figure, and elder son of Leo Tolstoy.
The exhibition features materials, telling on various aspects of life of Sergei Lvovich: photographs, unique documents, a draft of his term paper at the Department of Science of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of the Moscow State University, a manuscript of the story of S. L. Tolstoy “Pyrkin’s Case” and others, music publications.
