Internet and society: Broadcasts of the Olympic Games in high quality in the Internet

The National Telecommunication Company "Rostelecom" will provide a broadcast of the Olympic Games in Sochi in high quality. This was said at a press conference by marketing director Igor Pepelyaev.

"You will be able to see the broadcast of the Olympic Games, as it has never been shown in high definition before - said Pepelyaev. - We have done everything the Olympics was evident in every place in the world and a unique quality". According to him, together with the Organizing Committee "Sochi 2014", "Rostelecom" will provide public display games in urban areas within the project «Live Site Sochi 2014» in Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk, Sochi, Tyumen, Khabarovsk and Khanty-Mansiysk.

«For the project «Live Site Sochi 2014» Rostelecom has developed a special Internet portal ls.rt.ru, at which will be collected the most interesting events of the Olympic Games", - said Pepelyaev. In addition, this online resource can leave feedback to members of the Olympic team.

"Within two weeks the website will begin active work until it can only learn timetable of sites, as well as have the program of display all the cities participating in the project", - said Pepelyaev.
