Russian museums: Action “Historic Night in the Museum – 2013” in the Ulyanovsk region

December 12, 2013 from 17.30 to 22.00 in the museums of the Ulyanovsk region will be held the action “Historic Night in the Museum – 2013”.

The event will be the final event of the decade of the Patriotic history on the territory of the region and will be held in the framework of the Day of national history of the Ulyanovsk region.

As part of the action, the Regional museum will host an exhibition of one exhibit - a decorative panel "History of the Russian State. N. M. Karamzin" from the holdings of the Russian Museum of Decorative - Applied and Folk Arts (Moscow), and there will be organized interactive platforms, as well as a theatrical performance "Tin Soldier" with the participation of artists of puppet theater.

The central event of "Historic night" in the I. A. Goncharov Historical and Memorial Center Museum will be held the opening of the exhibition "N. M. Karamzin and his time" - a joint project of the State Historical Museum (Moscow) and  the I. A. Goncharov Ulyanovsk Regional Local Lore Museum.

The "Historic Night" in the Ulyanovsk Regional Art Museum will be open with exhibition "Historical paintings of Russian artists", organized jointly with the State Tretyakov Gallery and the State Historical Museum in the program of events to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Karamzin in 2016.
