To the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi: Virtual retrospective of Winter Olympic Games presented at the web site of the Russian State Library

The Russian State Library (Moscow) presented at its website a virtual retrospective of the Winter Olympic Games "90 years to the white Olympics".

The slides reflect the history of the development of competition in winter sports - from the first Olympic Games in Chamonix (1924) to the forthcoming Olympic Games in Sochi. Here you can find some interesting details about the Games in different years, to get acquainted with unique collection of historic photographs.

In addition, at a separate slide is presented a thematic list of books from the collection of the library – as specific Olympics, and throughout the history of the Winter Games.
