Central Naval Museum in St. Petersburg is one of the first museums in Russia and one of the largest marine museums in the world. There are over seven hundred thousand items in its collection, including more than two thousand ships’ models. This summer the museum admitted a new address - the address of the renovated Krukov quarters. As the curtain of the year fell, six new halls have wide-opened their doors in the museum.

The main themes of these expositions are the Russian Navy founding in the late XIX - early XX century, the Russian-Japanese war of 1904-1905, and the Russian Navy reconstruction after the war, as well as the Baltic Fleet participation in the First World War.
