Information technology and authority: The system of interagency interaction to be upgraded

The head of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Nikolai Nikiforov held in the Government of the Russian Federation a regular session on the use of information technology in the provision of state and municipal services.

The Minister recalled the important decisions taken at the last February 13 by the Government Commission on the use of information technology to improve quality of life and the business environment, which was chaired by the head of government Dmitry Medvedev. In particular, the transition from paper to electronic notifications of legally significant authorities and implementing of electronic document.

The sub-commission has decided to launch a pilot modernized system of the interagency interaction. The “pilot” will be attended by FTS, Roseestr and several subjects of the Russian Federation.

According to the Ministry of Communications of Russia, currently it is completed the testing of regional data in 6o subjects of the Russian Federation. The implementation of projects in country is completed by 99% in test mode, in productive – 96%. According to Nikolai Nikiforov, this work has substantial success, but at the same time there is a number of problems, which need to be solved quickly. Following the meeting, it has been given a number of requests to federal and regional executive authorities.

During the meeting of the sub-commission was recommended to take a normative base, which allows coordinating IT spending, as well as accelerate the preparation of plans on informatization.
