Exhibitions: Exposition “In the harmony of the spirit and beauty” in Stavropol

February 20, 2014 as part of the framework of the Year of Russian Culture in the G. N. Prozritelev and G. K. Prave Stavropol State Museum-Preserve is held the exhibition "In the harmony of the spirit and beauty" which presents paintings and works of decorative art from the personal collection of Eminence Kirill (Intercession), Metropolitan of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk.

There is the picture, written by metropolitan, Nizhny Novgorod and Stavropol artists working in the tradition of the realist school, as well as gifts of beginning masters of pencil and brush. One section of the display is watercolors of S. Aldushkin among the exhibits.

In addition to paintings a considerable place in the exhibition takes a collection of bells, with more than 220 copies. This variety of collectibles is called campanophilia (from the Latin «campana» - bell).

The collection acquaints visitors with the variety of bell in the world. A special place is occupied by bells - peculiar characters of Russian life of the XIX - early XX centuries.
