Libraries and education: The First Ural-Siberian Conference “Open Library and Information Resources for Education and Science” in Perm

February 19-21, 2014 in Yekaterinburg and Perm is held the First Ural-Siberian Regional Scientific-Practical Conference "Open Library and Information Resources for Education and Science: Current Trends and Prospects".

The first two sessions of the conference – “Project “Map of Russian science” as an innovative recourse of library and information filed” and “Modern systems of library automation in the digital environment” – took place on February 19 in Perm (the M. Gorky Regional Library) and the other three – “Modern Library and integration of electronic resources”, “Map of Russia science as information and reference resource for education and science”, “Problems of integration of interregional library and information resources” – are held on February 20-21 in Yekaterinburg.

As part of the conference are also held guest meetings of the school “IRBIS”.
