World culture: European Drawing of the XVI – XVIII centuries presented at the exhibition “Old Masters” in Saratov

The exhibition "Old Masters" which opened on February 11, 2014 in the Radischev Museum in Saratov represented the European Drawing of the XVI - XVIII century.

The exposition is devoted to one of the unique and little-known museum collections. Compared with other large section of the collection the Fund of European Drawing is small: there are about 150 works. Covering a wide chronological range - from the XVI to the XX century, inclusive, it is the works of artists from different eras, the leading European schools of a number of stylistic trends.

The exposition dedicated to the drawing of the old masters of the XVI - XVIII centuries, includes lists of most leading European schools - German, Italian, French, Dutch, Flemish.
