World history: Exhibition “The end of the Napoleonic era” in the Moscow region

February 14, 2014 at the Museum-Reserve "Manor Muranovo" of F. I. Tyutchev"(the Moscow region) opens the exhibition "End of the Napoleonic Era" timed to the 200th anniversary of the entrance of the Russian army in Paris.

The exposition features about 100 exhibits from private collections in Russia and the collection of the Museum "Manor Muranovo" of F. I. Tyutchev". These are genuine things by Russian and French officers and soldiers, drawings, prints and lithographs of the XIX century, works of arts and crafts related to the events of the Napoleonic Wars, rare books.

Muranovo – is a homestead with the literary past. Considering unique exhibits, visitors can get acquainted with the works of Russian literature devoted to the heroic epic beginning of the XIX century - to hear them in the record or read in books, by Muranovo tradition laid out on the table for free use.
