Book publishing and book distribution: Books of Russia presented at the XXIII International Havana Book Fair

From 13 to 23 February 2014 in the capital of the Republic of Cuba, Havana is held a traditional International Book Fair. The Russian program "Read Russia" / READ RUSSIA is an exhibitor.

Traditionally, a significant part of the exhibition consists of books devoted to the history and literature of Latin America in general and Cuba in particular, issued in Russia in the past 20 years, as well as tutorials for learning the Russian language of Spanish-speaking students and schoolchildren. To compile this exhibition are attracted Russian experts and Latin and Spanish speaking specialists.

In 2014, the Russian delegation consisted of the famous Russian poets, writers, translators, cultural workers.

Within ten days, visitors can visit the Russian pavilion - D-29, to get acquainted with the representation of a photo exhibition of works by famous contemporary photographer Viviandel Rio and personally interact with the organizers and members of the Russian delegation, as well as attend events within the program READ RUSSIA.

For the youngest visitors of the exhibition the Russian delegation prepared contests - "I read Russia" and "I paint Russia" - allowing children to learn a lot about Russia and Russian literature, as well as share their own views, ideas, knowledge on this topic.

READ RUSSIA program is a regular participant in the most important events in book publishing of the international level, where successfully presents the same as world-famous Russian authors and promising young writers and poets.
