History and culture: Exhibition “Image of the Mother of God. Icons of the XVI – early XX centuries” in the Moscow region

February 11, 2014 in the Regional Center of access to information resources of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library in Pushkino opens the exhibition “Image of the Mother of God. Icons of the XVI – early XX centuries”. The exhibition will introduce visitors to the collection of rare icons of the Blessed Virgin from the collection of the State Historical Museum (Moscow).

The earliest icons are related to the early XVI century and are unique for their unusual art expression and bright colors.

The exhibition will run till March 25, 2014.
