To the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi: Exhibition “Autographs of athletes on philatelic materials” in Ulyanovsk

February 5, 2014 in the Museum “The postal business of Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk” on the eve of the opening of the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi is opening an exhibition “Autographs of athletes on philatelic materials”. 

The collection belongs to Yuri Ivanovich Rovensky – the famous Ulyanovsk collector of stamps, executive secretary of the board of the Ulyanovsk regional branch of the Union of Philatelists of Russia.

52 sheets include autographs of Olympic champions and world champions, the Soviet Union and Russia, including famous Ulyanovsk Olympic champions: weightlifter Yuri Zakharevich, fighter Vitali Konstantinov, sprinter Vladimir Krylov.

The exhibition runs till March 12.
