Science and society: Exhibition “The main priority – science and innovation” dedicated to the Day of Russian Science in Cheboksary

From 1 to 28 February 2014 in the Department of Industrial Literature of the National Library of the Chuvash Republic runs the exhibition "The main priority - science and innovation", dedicated to the Day of Russian science.

The exhibition features books, magazines and CDs. In a unique catalog on CD «Modern innovations in science and technology» are presented descriptions of innovations in various industries.

Various articles analyze statistical indicators of science, characterizing the development of scientific and technological achievements (technologies, patents, innovation), it is talked about the need to move our economy to a path of innovative development, it is written, outlined the basic problems of development of science and innovation in Russia, characterized factors influencing on innovation, discussed the potential of the research activities.

There are presented articles devoted to the study of the fundamental role of science in the emergence of innovation, which is considered the current state of Russian industry, analyzing the practice of diffusion of technological innovation and suggesting ways designed to promote interaction between university research and industry.
