Russian regions: The exhibition, dedicated to the photographer of the early XX century Sergei Borisov, opened in Altai

March 25, 2014 the Altai Regional Museum within the framework of the Year of Culture in Russia opened the exhibition "To the future for memory. S. I. Borisov - photographer, cultural worker", dedicated to cultural figure of the early XX century, Sergei Borisov. As reported in the press service of the Altai Krai for Culture and archival activities, thanks to Sergey Borisov the museum has the richest photo collection on the history and culture of Altai.

Among the works of Borisov are hundreds of photographs and postcards depicting Barnaul and its citizens, stunning views of the Altai Mountains and settlements, industrial facilities.

 The exhibition features about 150 photographs and postcards, documents and personal belongings of Sergey Borisov.
