Information technology and libraries: The S. M. Kirov Military-Medical Academy holdings in Kirov to be digitized

In the library of the S. M. Kirov Military-Medical Academy (St. Petersburg) will be digitized the holdings using a universal book scanner PlanScan A2B provided be ELARA Corporation.

With the new equipment and software modules in the university will be created digital assets. Currently the library academy contains 1.9 million copies of medical, science, military and socio-political literature. The library has a rare, including incunabula, the European editions of the medical literature, one of the most complete collections in the country of Russian medical books and journals of the XVIII-XX centuries.
