Society and culture: Action “Night in the theatre” is held in Moscow

March 26, 2014 in Moscow is held the action "Night at the theater".

In the Year of Russia the Moscow action "Night at the Theatre", dedicated to the International Theatre Day, is held for the second time.

As part of the first "theater night" in 17 Moscow theatres were held open rehearsals, meetings with playwrights, directors and actors, night shows of performances, concerts, tours behind the scenes and thematic exhibitions, which collected about four thousand people.

This year the number of participants has significantly increased - more than 40 theaters present their "night" programs.

The Stanislavsky Theatre and the Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater, the Pushkin Moscow Drama Theater, the Theatre of "Commonwealth of Taganka Actors", the Durov Corner and the Theatre «ET CETERA» conduct tours on the history of theater and the buildings in which they are located.

The Stanislavsky Moscow Drama Theater, the Moscow Theatre for Young Spectators, the Mayakovski Academic Theatre, the "Hermitage" Theatre and others will hold open rehearsal performances.

"Gogol Centre" present "Gogol-night", as part of which will be held a meeting with Alexei Devotchenko, a tour through the theater, open rehearsal of «Stalker», the concert of the studio SounDrama and a master class for DJ.

The MOST Theater together with the M. A. Bulgakov Museum organizes a unique theatrical tour in "bad apartment» № 50 on the Bolshaya Sadovaya, 10, as well as thematic lectures and master classes.

In the Moscow Theater n/p Tabakov will be held "Reminiscences" – a video demonstration of the legendary performance of "Sailor's Silence."

The School of Modern Drama will present the program "Theatrical educational program": lecture, tour, master-class, theatrical revues and interactive Jam session.

The entrance to all events of the action "Night at the theater" is free, but is carried out by an appointment.
