Book publishing and book distribution: International Children’s Book Fair is held in Bologna

The leading international exhibition for professionals in the field of children's book publishing Fiera del libro per ragazzi (first held in 1964) this year opens its doors in Bologna (Italy) from 24 to 27 March 2014.

At Bologna exhibition of children's books it is possible to see not only re-published and illustrated in a contemporary style book storytellers of classics, but also to get acquainted with the latest works by contemporary writers for children. Moreover, this is a great opportunity to present you to young talents. Exhibition program: meetings, debates, lectures, award ceremonies. Every year the exhibition attracts more than 600 journalists from 70 countries.

This spring at the Russian stand are presented books of famous Moscow, St. Petersburg, regional publishers and exhibition of illustrations of graphic artists. Every year at the stand are held presentations of the leading publishers working on the book market in the segment of Russian literature for children and youth. This year, visitors and participants will be acquainted with the Bologna Fair publishers “Labyrinth”, “Clever”, “Meshcheryakov Publishing House” and ID “KompasGid”.

The program of events also includes a presentation of the Department of Children's Book of the M. I. Rudomino Library for Foreign Literature.
