Russian language: Festival of the Russian language started in Argentina

In Buenos Aires (Argentina) on March 19, 2014 opened the "Festival of Russian literature" - a series of lectures and workshops, quizzes and competitions for Russian language teachers, students, and everyone in general.

The organizer of the celebrations, taking place part of the Second World Festival of Russian language, was the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Russian Cooperation with the support of the Russian Embassy in Argentina.

Within three festival days the professors of the of St. Petersburg State University will give lectures, hold round tables, master classes and open lessons for Russian language teachers working in Argentina and neighboring countries. At the same time for students, pupils and simply indifferent to Russian culture will be held a quiz "Do you know Russia?" and a competition for Russian songs. The winners of the event will go to the final events of the festival, which will take place in autumn in the northern capital of Russia.

The festive events in Buenos Aires are attended by over a hundred teachers, students and lovers of Russian culture as from Argentina and from neighboring Uruguay and Paraguay.
