Information technology and museums: International conference: Museum – University: interaction in the network” in Saint-Petersburg

March 18, 2014, in Saint-Petersburg, the State Russian Museum and the Saint-Petersburg State University hold the International conference: Museum – University: interaction in the networks”. 

During the conference will be organized a video-conferencing between participants – partners of the project “The Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch”, as well as the online broadcasting at the website of the Nonprofit partnership “The Virtual Russian Museum”.

The International project "The Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch" celebrated its tenth anniversary. During this time it joined in the information space more than a hundred institutions, including 20 universities in Russia and abroad 6. This conference is designed to take the first step toward combining their efforts to create a platform that will allow the project to expand educational opportunities.
