Internet and society: Interactive exhibition “Children in the Internet”
March 12, 2014 in the Ryazan Regional Children's Library took place the opening of the interactive exhibition "Children in the Internet".
The purpose of the project is to inform younger students, parents and teachers about the potential risks when using the Internet, ways of protection against network threats, and useful networking opportunities for recreation, education and development.
According to the director of the Ryazan Regional Children's Library Tatiana Okruzhnaya at a press conference, dedicated to the opening of the exhibition, she told the problem of Safer Internet for children are now concerned parents and teachers, and librarians.
The basis for the concept of the exhibition was taken an interactivity principle: when visiting the exhibition hall of the six colorful zones children and adults explore the world on their own content, studying its history and rules of behavior on the web. During the exhibition there will be held lessons of the useful and safe Internet for younger students, developed in conjunction with the specialists of the Faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University of Psychology and the Development Foundation "Internet".
The exposition will run in the Ryazan Regional Library until May 15.
