World culture: Arts and crafts of China and Japan presented at the exhibition in Kazan

March 14, 2014 in the Center "Hermitage-Kazan" opens the exhibition "East - a delicate matter…". The gallery "Eastern zagranitsa" (Moscow) presents a collection of oriental antiques.

Over a hundred subjects demonstrate arts and crafts of China and Japan from the Middle Ages to modern times - porcelain vases, bowls, glass jars for brushes, bronze censers and other rare items, scrolls and embroidery on silk and paper with unique ornaments and images.

Much interest to fans of the oriental culture is the Japanese art of the second half of the XIX century, made in the traditional style of sumi-e. This is a reflection of a special look at the world, a reflection of a specific philosophy of the Japanese.
