History of a book: International conference “450 years to “Apostle” of Ivan Feodorov: history of early printing in Russia” in Moscow

13-14 March 2014 in the Russian State Library takes place the International Scientific Conference "450 years to "Apostle" of Ivan Fedorov: history of early printing in Russia (monuments, sources, the tradition of learning)". The conference is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the edition of the first dated printed book in Moscow - "Apostle" (M., 1564).

At the conference will be delivered speeches by researchers in the field of history of Cyrillic printing, experts from libraries, museums, research institutes, universities and etc.

Also on March 13 will be held the opening of the exhibition "450 years to "Apostle" of Ivan Fedorov and Petr Timofeev Mstislavets". The exhibition will be open until April 6 at the Blue Exhibition Hall of the RSL.
