To the 80th anniversary of the birth of Yuri Gagarin: Exhibition “Three days in the life of Gagarin” in Moscow

March 7, 2014 in the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics (Moscow) took place the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Three days in the life of Gagarin", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Yuri A. Gagarin.

The creators of the exhibition are the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics and the National Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation.

The anniversary of the first cosmonaut of the planet Earth - is an opportunity to once again convincingly remind the international community about the key role of Russia in space exploration, to attract the attention of the younger generation for space-related to science in general, to raise its prestige, and to show how proud and admired were the people of the Earth experienced hearing April 12, 1961 space flight on the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, as well as pride in the hundreds of thousands of scientists, engineers, designers, workers who with their talent and labor contributed to the realization of the dream of mankind to go into space.

The exhibition tells of the three most important, the brightest days in the life of the first cosmonaut. It features photographs and documents, objects, which were in space, and personal belongings of the cosmonaut.
