Memory of the world: The Day of Knowledge in Russia to be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First World War

September 1, on the Day of Knowledge, in schools, as planned, will be held Lessons of courage. According to the proposal of the Russian Military Historical Society and the Russian organizing committee "Victory", millions of teachers will tell students about the heroic deeds of our ancestors during the First World War, the beginning of the century, which accounts for that year. There will be prepared a special concept and multimedia applications to help teachers.

According to the scientific director of the Russian Military Historical Society Michael Myagkov, together with the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Moscow Government will be designed and developed a special short film that will show the students in schools and gymnasiums.

- There are wishes that the film, created by professional historians and educators, was recorded on the disc, - said Mikhail. – A multi-media product is a kind of an integral part of large-scale project RVIO to develop a single academic standard and a new history textbook, - he added.
