To the XI Paralympic Winter Game in Sochi: The Sochi Media Center preparing for the show of the Games

The volume of broadcasting on the radio of the XI Paralympic Winter Games which will be held in Sochi from March 7-16 will be 180 hours, according to the press-release of the Organizing Committee “Sochi-2014”.

The National Broadcasting Company, which is the official broadcaster of the Games sublicense ANO "Sports Broadcasting" ("Panorama"), will provide the show of more than 50 hours of the competition broadcasts on TV channel "Russia 2", 80-hour TV channel "Sport" and 20 hours of TV coverage on TV "Sport 1".

"Panorama" plans to place broadcasts of the Paralympic Winter Games in full volume at the portal www.russiasport.ru. All broadcasts at the web site will be accompanied by commentaries in Russian. They also will be available on both iOS and Android applications using mobile RussiaSport. The signal will be distributed exclusively in the territory of the Russian Federation.

For the production of an international television signal of the Paralympics and services of broadcasters is responsible the Olympic Broadcasting Service (OBS). All rights to the broadcast of media belong to the Paralympic Organising Committee "Sochi 2014".

The broadcasting rights for the Paralympics have acquired more than 45 broadcasters, including sublicenses and broadcasters associations from more than 40 countries, which is a record of the Paralympic Winter Games.
