The State Historical and Cultural Museum-Preserve "The Moscow Kremlin" 8 – 10 April 2014 holds the annual theoretical and practical conference "Museum libraries in modern society."

Theme 2014: "Book Binding: Problems of Studying."

The conference will discuss:

- The history of bookbinding;

- Art features of book bindings of different eras;

- Possessory binding;

- Aspects of the study of book binding;

- Collections of book bindings;

- Problems of attribution;

- Bookbinding workshops and masters of bookbinding;

- Restoration of book binding.

The conference will include a round table, and master classes.
