Exhibitions: Exposition “Soldier and writer. To the 95th anniversary of D. A. Granin” in Saint-Petersburg

April 2, 2014 in the Korff Hall of the National Library of Russia (St. Petersburg) opens the exhibition "The soldier and writer. To the 95th anniversary of the D. A. Granin".

The exposition is based on the material from the personal archive of Granin stored in the Manuscript Department of the NLR. Among the documents – the scenarios for the writer's works, his notes, drafts, photographs, letters from readers.

Among the exhibits is the "Blockade Book", as well as other well-known writer’s books. The exhibition is complemented with commemorative editions, articles about the life and work of the great writer.

Daniil Alexandrovich Granin is known worldwide as an outstanding Russian writer and public figure, marked by a number of state awards and prizes.
