Society and book culture: Exhibition-Fair “Siberian Book” in Novosibirsk

28 and May 29, 2014 in the Novosibirsk Regional Scientific Library is held the IV Exhibition of books publishing houses and libraries "Siberian Book". The event was held on the initiative of the Novosibirsk Library Associations and the Novosibirsk State Regional Scientific Library since 2008.

The exhibition areas present publishing production of regional libraries in all diversity. The visitors will have opportunity to purchase any editions.

"For us, - said the executive director of the Novosibirsk Library Society Olga Plotnikova - "Siberian Book" is not only a platform for constructive dialogue of experts of library and book business. First of all, this event is aimed at supporting and encouraging reading activity and residents of the Novosibirsk region, familiarity with their unique local history publications, books, authors and other Siberian book products manufactured by regional publishers".
