To the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture: Exhibition “Az. Buki. Vedi” in Barnaul

May 22, 2014 at the State Art Museum of the Altai Krai opened an exhibition "Az. Buki. Vedi", dedicated to the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture.
The exposition includes printed books from the museum. These are unique book monuments of the XVI - early XX centuries: Good Gospel (1600), "Lives of the Saints Metropolitan Dmitry of Rostov" (1852), "Breviary" (1876), "Oktay and Gospel Sticheron" (1913).
As part of the exhibition in the museum will be held master classes, where younger pupils will get acquainted with the history of ancient books, the Old Slavonic alphabet, try to portray a drop cap.
The exhibition runs until June 30, 2014.
