To the 69th anniversary of the Great Victory: Celebrations in Moscow

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin approved a plan of action to the preparation and celebration of the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Celebration events will be unfolded on the main streets, boulevards, houses of culture, museums, theaters and concert venues.

Thus, on May 9 on Red Square it will be held a traditional military parade.

Also, will be held lay wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, on Poklonnaya Hill will be held a concert program "On a date with Victory", at the Bolshoi Theater will be held a traditional meeting of war veterans.

There will be held a solemn procession of historical and patriotic program of Children of Moscow's "Heroes of victory - our great-grandfathers and grandfathers" and the action "Immortal regiment".

In the museum and memorial complex "History of the T-34" will be held in the museum holiday in honor of the Victory Day.

On the streets of the city it will be presented an art project "Light installation" as the main character of hero-cities of Russia.

Moscow will be decorated with Victory Banners and in the evening on May 9 in the city is in scheduled a fireworks.
