Exhibitions: The exhibition “The Russian Helmet. Pages of History” opened in Voronezh
The Museum-Reserve “Kulikovo Field” presented in Voronezh an exhibition “The Russian Helmet. Pages of History” dedicated to the centenary of the First World War. The history of Russian helmet can be learnt about in the Voronezh Regional Local Lore Museum.
The exhibition “The Russian Helmet. Pages of History” features the history of a protective headgear from its origins to the present in originals, photographs and military-historical reconstructions.
The organizers of the exhibition are the State Museum-Reserve “Kulikovo Field”, the Tula Military-Patriotic Club “Silver Griffin” and the Voronezh Regional Local History Museum.
Authentic items, which are demonstrated at the exhibition, are brought to Voronezh from the collections of the Museum-Reserve “Kulikovo Field”. Reconstructions of the armor in implemented by E. V. Izhevsky and students of the Tula Regional Boarding School – active participants of the club “Silver Griffin”.
The central showcase presents main exhibits – Adrian’s helmet, arms and elements of warrior uniforms of the First World War.
The exhibition “Russian Helmet. Pages of History” in the Voronezh Regional Local History Museum will run until August 18, 2014.
