Society and culture: The Scientific-Practical Conference to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Anna Akhmatova in Saint-Petersburg

June 23-25, 2014 in Saint-Petersburg is held the International Scientific-Practical Conference “Anna Akhmatova in the space of world culture”, dedicated to the 125^th anniversary of the birth of the poet.

The conference is held in the Main building of the National Library of Russia and the Anna Akhmatova Museum in the Fountain House.

On the first day of the conference will be heard and discussed reports on the study of creativity of Anna Akhmatova in the context of links with world literature, painting, music. During the second day of the conference at the Anna Akhmatova Museum at the Fountain House will be held a roundtable "Anna Akhmatova in the space of world culture", at which will be addressed scholars, writers and artists from Russia, CIS countries and abroad.
