Information technology and libraries: The first mobile library opened in Chelyabinsk

On a pedestrian street of the Chelyabinsk region s opened a mobile library – it hosts virtual book shelves. The owners of gadgets can download works for a few seconds with the help of special WR-code, located in the back of books and can read classic literature on their tablet and smart phone. How to download books and configure the device is shown by mobile librarians, who are near the mobile library.

Virtual book shelves with QR-codes are also located in the windows of the Pushkin Central Library.
