Exhibitions: Exposition “Materials of A. S. Pushkin in the collections of the House of the Russian Abroad” in Moscow

From 6 to 19 June 2014 the Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Abroad (Moscow) is hosting an exhibition "Materials of A. S. Pushkin in the collections of the House of Russian Abroad".

"Pushkiniana of the Russian emigration" can be seen at the jubilee exhibition at the House of the  Russian Abroad. It features the donated by M. I. Lifar, widow of the brother of outstanding choreographer, member of the World Pushkin Committee Serge Lifar memorial items, programs and posters of commemorative concerts, photos of F. I. Shalyapin, autographs of articles devoted to Pushkin by V. N. Ilyin, I. S. Shmelev and "Pushkin's remarks" in the diaries of I. S. Bunin. In addition, the exhibition includes illustrations of S. V. Malyutin to the poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila" and postcards on themes of Pushkin made by American artist of Russian origin V. D. Gashurova.

The exhibition, echoing through nearly a century with the Paris exposition of 1937, is conceived as a grateful offering to the poet.
