In Berlin in the Cultural Association «KULTschule» during the VIII German-Russian Festival opened an exhibition "Kaliningrad Kantiana" prepared by the specialists of the Kaliningrad Regional History and Art Museum with the support of the Regional Ministry of Culture.

The exhibition "Kaliningrad Cantina", presented in German, is dedicated to the 290th anniversary of the birth of the great German scientist and philosopher Immanuel Kant. The exposition offers memorable places and routes in the Kaliningrad region, associated with the life of the famous thinker; it tells about art and cultural events held in the region.

In April this year in Kaliningrad took place an International conference «XI Kantian readings", at which were discussed issues of revival of memorable places in the area associated with the life of the great philosopher. The exhibition presents the route developed by the Government of the Kaliningrad region, which includes the so-called "triangle of Kant". This is the Cathedral in Kaliningrad, where Immanuel Kant is buried, the mansion of pastor in the village of Veselovk of the Chernyakhovsky area where he lived and worked for three years, and a part of the estate in the village Pravdinsky area, where scientist stayed. Another part of the exhibition was the story of the era in which he lived a great thinker. For example, in the collections of the Kaliningrad Regional History and Art Museum exhibits are stored at the time - ticket, books, documents, household residents in Koenigsberg in XVIII.

The exposition will be presented in «KULTschule» until the end of August, and then it will move to the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin.
