Memory of Russia: “The Pushkin Day of Russia” in Saint-Petersburg

June 6, 2014 marks the 215 years of the birth of A. S. Pushkin. The National Pushkin Museum hosts celebrations on this day.  

There will be held a solemn ceremony near the monument of A. S. Pushkin in the yard of the museum “Tribute to Poet”. 

Then at the museum will be open exhibitions:

- The exhibition of collections of the National Pushkin Museum “Under Myrtles of Beautiful Italy…”

- Photo exhibition dedicated to the performance of the Bolshoi Theatre “The Queen of Spades” directed by Roland Petit to the 180th anniversary of the publication of the poem by A. S. Pushkin “The Queen of Spades”.
