World Museums: International Festival of Museums “Intermuseum-2014” in Moscow

From June 3-9, 2014 at the Central Exhibition Hall "Manezh" (Moscow) is held the 16th International Festival of Museums "Intermuseum 2014".

The festival "Intermuseum", first held in 1999, is today the main event of Russian museum calendar. This unique cultural space invariably attracts attention not only professionals but also the widest range of visitors. Over the years of its existence, "Intermuseum" serves the professional development of museums in Russia, forming a representation of the traditions and new trends, practices and technologies in the modern museum.

The central theme of the festival of 2014 is "Museum in the digital age" - "Museum in the information space".

The festival invites representatives of Russian and international professional museum community, representatives of federal and regional authorities, sponsors and patrons, foundations, media representatives, commercial structures, representing the museum of technology and equipment for all museum activities.
