Russian regions: The exposition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the exhibition will be open in Moscow in VDNH

At the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (VDNH) in Moscow, on August 1, 2014 will be open an anniversary exposition. According to the press service of the Exhibition Center, it is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the exhibition and will be located in Hall № 1.

There you will see an installation that shows the daily life of the exhibition, as well as the slides from the multiscreen film "We, the Soviet people", which was shown in the Main Hall in the early 1980s. The projection system mounted on request of the Soviet government experts from Czechoslovakia and was entombed in a room and forgotten for many years.

In the spring of 2014 during the renovation of the pavilion was found about 3 thousand original color slides and a variety of equipment, including 50 mechanical slide projectors. Some of them have been restored and included in a commemorative exhibition. Another unique find – a plural high relief by the sculptor Vucheticha of the area of 90 square meters. It was also immured in the wall for a few decades and now has become one of the main exhibits.

The exposition "The main exhibition of the country" will be open to visitors in the pavilion № 1 in VDNH from 1 August to 31 December 2014.
