Society and mass media: American weekly The New Yorker to post the archive of articles since 2007 in the Web

23 July 2014

The American weekly The New Yorker will post in the open access the archive of articles and stories, issued in paper version of the publication since 2007, - says The Verge.

The magazine took such step in order to attract readers’ attention to the large-scale redesign of the electronic version of the The New Yorker which took place this week. Now the website (including applications for iPad and iPhone) will post all the materials from the printed version of the magazine, not part of them, as before, and in autumn the electronic The New Yorker will fully be paid, and only selected materials will be able for reading for a limited time. The archive of articles since 2007 will be also available until the autumn.
