Society and reading: The study on the electronic reading
The company PocketBook not only produces e-readers, but also constantly exploring the reading public. A recent survey has allowed knowing how the audience has changed over the period 2013-2014.
The most important and positive news is that Russia is still a very high interest in reading. More and more readers are shifting from traditional paper books to its electronic analogue.
The survey shows that the vast majority, answered questions, owns at least two mobile gadgets, with which they can read a book. A large part prefers to read at home, although, reading in public transport confidently occupies the second position. On average, the Russians have time to read during a month from one to three books, and an active reading age is in the range of 24 to 41 years.
These surveys allow readers to identify needs, create new services and to improve and develop existing ones.
