Peoples of Russia: The meeting of the Association of the Finno-Ugric peoples of Russia in the Arctic

July 18, 2014 in Lovozero (the Murmansk region) is held the meeting of the Presidium of the National Public Movement “Association of the Finno-Ugric Peoples of the Russian Federation”. The meeting is attended by the representatives of the Government of the Murmansk region, the Committee for Cooperation with civil society organizations and youth affairs of the Murmansk region, the Administration of the Lovozero district and civil society organizations. 

At the meeting it will be considered issues of the ethno-cultural identity of Finno-Ugric peoples, living in the Murmansk region. The participants of the meeting will visit the Lovozero district national cultural center, the North National College, the territorial department of history, culture and life of Kola Sami people of the museum of the Lovozero village.
