Internet and resources: The interactive platform “365 meetings with Orthodoxy” opened as part of the project “The Year with St. Sergius of Radonezh”

At the website of the National Library of the Chuvash Republic in the framework of the project "The Year of St. Sergius of Radonezh" opened an interactive platform "365 meetings with the Orthodoxy". The creation of spiritual and educational resource providing access to public and parochial libraries of Chuvashia to information-oriented Orthodox spiritual values ​​- one of the key objectives of the project. The sections of the website, including a chronicle of the project, electronic exhibitions, instructional materials, and more, are constantly replenished.  

The organizers have tried to make the model of the website an interactive platform intuitively understood to user with any level of computer literacy. So, all the materials are divided into main groups: "Year of St. Sergius of Radonezh" includes all information about the project; in the section "Shrine of the Chuvash Earth" - a compilation of electronic exhibitions and presentations of public and parochial libraries of the holy places of the Chuvash lands; edifying reading is located in the "Reading Room", and "Orthodoxy in the network" will bring a selection of interesting, in our view, Internet materials.

In the design of the interactive platform participated Cheboksary photographers Alexander Demyanov, Ilya Stepanov and Alexei Sitdikov, who gave permission to post their works.

The new resource will allow user to touch spiritual values of the Orthodoxy and expand their knowledge about the spiritual history of Russia.
