International events: The XI Educational program “History of the Russian State” for compatriots living abroad in Saint-Petersburg

In the period from 31 August to 11 September 2014 the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg holds the XI educational program for compatriots living abroad on the history of Russia "History of the Russian State" (Cultural Historical University).

In 2014, the Cultural Historical University is dedicated to the theme of First World War Centenary. Compatriots are expected twenty lectures, each of which is the author's development, specially prepared by leading specialists of St. Petersburg based on research and historical sources.

New item of the program will be the participation in the military reconstruction dedicated to the era of the First World War.

The project participants are teachers of historical sciences, social sciences and law, experts who in their professional activities deal with issues related to the history of Russia, members of the historical clubs, associations.
